I use ebay blackthorne, which is an ebay listing tool that is sql based. I would like for an inventory label to print each time a new item is created within the program. The label must be configured using data from a few fields and would preferably include a barcode for one of the fields data, although that is not necessary.

The method must be completely in the background.

After googling the idea a bit, I came upon at least one site that described this ability to be within SQL server reporting services.

I have a game idea and I need help counting the possible combinations.
Imagine a domino with two numbers on each side.

Now the idea is if i give multiple dominos we create a top and bottom hand.

To make things a little more complicated I want to add another element to the numbers for example colours (red, blue, green, yellow, purple and orange).

then I want to output in anyway that I can read, so I know that how many total hands there are and how many of each specified hands.

Note : if a domino is 3R,3R then there is no need to twist them around.

I have a section on my website for a specific customer to order their products. Basically the customer has changed their company name and logo and all the graphics on the exhibits. I have new images in .jpg format. I'm not sure if this interacts with the databases or not. What this involves is inserting new .jpg images in all fields to show the new graphic packages, changing the pricing of certain items with data I will send you and changing all wording that might say Brinks to the new name of the company.

Binary file sorter to SQL server using VB.NET

My requirements are:

Pre-requisites:
1. Must use VB.NET.
2. Must have comments in every call of any sub.
3. must use only the existing .net components.
4. If a third party component is needed, then let me know before you start, so we can discuss if it is really necessary.

STEP 1:

Get a group of files (binary files)from a ftp server using binary transfer mode, on hourly basis. make sure the next get process does not get the ones he got the hour ago.
it should look into only the new files generated after the last get.

STEP 2:
process the files one by one in a particular way I will describe after you accept to work on phase 1:

Note: the files does not have the same size.
you can consider this file as just one very long line divided in blocks of 200 characters.
example: if a file is of size 576,000 bytes, than it will contain 576,000 / 200 = 2880 blocks. each block represents one record.
and each record is having 200 CHARACTERS (BYTES).

Note2: the files does not have extention.

STEP 3 :

Migrate the results you get as records into a database . Microsoft SQL server.
name the database: datavolume
name the table : tablevolume

you got the point.
I don't want to invest in oracle/sybase or whatever.

STEP 4:

Put the sorted files(binary files) as text ( rename them with .TXT extension),to an ftp server, into a certain directory structure (you can suggest).

Once phase 1 is completed successfully, then 4 other phases will come. having same or more complexity.

If you are a good coder in VB.NET (socket programming/ text manipulation) and SQL server. then you can apply. if not, please don't.

I recently switched from Outlook to Thunderbird and I would like to hire a programmer to make the following custom modifications to Thunderbird:

1. Right now, when I send a calendar invite, I get a pop-window asking me about outlook compatibility. I need this reminder disabled and also tell me where I can find this setting to change manually if needed.

2. Right now, in the address book, when I select a name, a preview of that contact's information appears at the bottom of the page. Please modify this preview so that I can cut and paste an address with this format from that preview pane:

3. Folder Sort – I need the Thunderbird folder view modified so that if I sort by a column title and then type several letters, that the script jumps to the place on the page that match the letter combination (Example: “hea” for healingcrystals). Is this coming in V3.0?

- Secondary Sort – modify Thunderbird folder view to have a secondary sort. If the folder is already sorted by date and then we sort by recipient, then I want the page to display all of the recipients in date order. Right now, if the emails are sorted by date, and I click on recipients, the page resorts, but the recipient emails are not in date order any more.

4. Then, when going to the address book and viewing the Contacts list, modify the script so that if I type a letter on the keyboard from this view, then by default the contact view scrolls down to the first contact name that begins with that letter. Please write the script so that also it recognizes if I am typying multiple letters for one word such as:

ABC

and this will go to the beginning of the contacts beginning with ABC such as:

ABAA
ABBB
==>ABCC

Outlook currently has this same functionality that I am trying to mimic.

5. Modify the number/list icon in the fckeditor so that the numbers use the same font/size as the body composition settings. Right now, I set my body to be 12pt Arial and the numbers show up in Times New Roman.

I am looking for someone who is able to install a 'simple' speech recognition (e.g. CMU PocketSphinx or other) system on my Linux system.
X is not running, so systems who needs a running X/gnome/KDE are unusable for me!
The speech (which only contains commands (like 'left') and no real sentences) is being read from stdin and the recognized text is written to stdout! That sounds easy for you? Then drop me a message!

Here is some more info for you:
The spoken words does not build sentences! The words are just single word commands (like 'left' or 'new') and special commands like 'package k 9' or 'box 2 q 0' (a word plus max 5 letters and numbers (0-10)).
If possible (not required) the system should be trained by me (the user) to make the recognition fast and as accurate as possible.
If possible (not required) the system should be able to be used in english and german. (Maybe this will be automatically done, because it will be trained by me and we don't have real sentences?)
If possible (not required) the system should be able to run on smaller devices! (Thats why I thought PocketSphinx might be a good option.)

I am in need of an application that will save a document back to its SharePoint folder after it has been edited.
For example, if I open a PDF document by clicking on it in SharePoint, it opens in Adobe. When I am ready to save the document, Adobe can only save it to the file system. Hi there. I basically already have a site kinda set up. I've had a banner created for the homepage, and I've had some forums set up with a little graphic work done. What I am looking for are these things;

A. Someone to create an online software application. This application will only be for paying members or members that I can decide whether or not they have access to this. The program is very, very , simple. This site is created to connect merchants and customers. Basically, the members will decide on what type of product they want to be notified of. A certain category. The actual store owners will enter in the software every time they have a certain product they want to get rid of , or have a special on, or just want to push and show everyone it's on sale. The members will receive an email or text message (if possible) when a dealer has entered a part of product that they wanted to be notified of. Port MatLab DSP Code to Java

The Matlab code uses a few built-in Matlab functions which will obviously need to be ported, filter(), fft(), etc...

Fix DLL Injection To Work on Managed Code

My application is using a DLL injection technique which works fine EXCEPT for managed code. I'm looking for someone to diagnose why this happens and fix it.

There's an attached Visual Studio solution which demonstrates the problem with a simple test program. This is in VS 2005 format but you can convert it to a later version if required.

I'd prefer not to replace my entire injection technology with a different one because mine is well adapted to the task. However, if another technique can be shown to provide all required functionality I will consider it.

The attached solution includes a README.txt file which explains how to reproduce.

Currently, we use a feature called Viral Inviter, that sends an invitation email to the contacts the user enters. This feature is available at each of our areas for visitors (3 altogether).

1. We need the Viral Inviter, to be able to capture a specific feature from each of the user's areas and send invitations with these characteristics (Links from each area).

2. There are three means of sending invitations:

a. Import from an email account and then select the contacts to import to and send the invitation.
b. Entering the contact information individually, rather than importing contacts from an email account.
c. Import a file from Outlook or Thunderbird (CSV or LDIF format), with contacts to send the invitation to.

Currently, the invitations are not being sent nor sent with the right affiliate link. We need that fixed.

The code used to work until not long ago, so this should be a simple study of the code to find out what's wrong and fix it.

I would like to allow my customers to record a small videoclip and publish it on a section of my website.

I would like for the customer to have a small recording application that is embedded in my website that will allow them to record, preview final clip, and finally publish it. The quality of the video only needs to be similar to acceptable YouTube standards...it does not have to be production quality...of course the goal is to have the best quality possible.

I am looking for the most efficient way to accomplish this task. I would prefer a solution that does not require specific software download...unless it is a simple universal download from my site.

I am trying to avoid compatibility issues relating to hardware etc.

As this is dealing with video I am also trying to limit bandwidth requirements. So if there would be a way to harness processing power from the users computer during the recording process that might be a solution.

All in all I have no idea the best way to accomplish this task, if it is easy or complicated...or if it is even possible. I look to any RAC experts to help me out.

I am looking for a website similar in function to the www.WheresGeorge.com site used to track currency in circulation. I would like to be able to generate a unique serial number and assign it to an item. When people encounter this item, they can report back to the website, enter the serial number and read about and update information about that item (serial number). Anyone entering information would be added to a email list and receive updates when someone else posts about their particular item. I can provide a older DB with Zip codes and Long/Lat coordinates for calculating the distance traveled as well as some existing code from a previous project where this was done.

Basically, a item will be assigned a serial number, and users can track and tell stories about that item online as well as track it's route. Individuals will also be able to request a serial numbered item (with pay pal integration) to start their own traveling story.

The www.Wheres George.com site also has some nice statistical information about dollar bills that are being tracked and these features would be nice to include as well.

My firm receives "advertised orders" after logging in to our client's website. After logging in and going to the web page with advertised orders, we see any advertised orders that exist. Given the competitive nature of my business, other firms snap up those advertised orders extremely quickly. As a result, we have created a simple tool to refresh the screen every 20 seconds so that we can see new advertised orders within 20 seconds of their entry into the system. The text on the screen consistently indicates "no advertised orders." When an advertised order appears, we attempt to quickly click on the link to accept that advertised order. Very frequently, other firms are quicker.

Because my staff is working on other adminstrative projects and not staring at the screen to catch advertised orders at every moment, and because we are monitoring 7 or 8 accounts that each have advertised orders from the same client, we would like to improve our system so that we receive an instant beep when the content on the page changes. The window refreshes every 20 seconds so we cannot have a beep every 20 seconds. We just need a beep when the "no advertised orders" content changes. Because of the nature of the website, we monitor 3 accounts on each computer (1 account with Internet Explorer, 1 account with Google Chrome, and 1 account with Mozilla Firefox). We do the same on other computers. We can't monitor 2 accounts on the same computer with a single web browser, so we use 3 different web browsers. This is OK, as long as your application works with all three web browsers as we run them simultaneously on a computer. Further questions prior to bidding would be acceptable.

Each mock test usually has 4 blocks of questions. Each block has 48 questions and lasts for 60 minutes. Users cannot return to the previous block once the time is up. users answer all questions and end up getting a score and statistics related to the scores (time/questions, % correct, % correct/subject). Questions (with media - jpg, mp3, flash) are accessed from a database that can be updated.

WordPress theme alterations

I have a WP theme that I need to have altered to suit the site I need to use it for. Right now it doesn't have a widget-aware sidebar, or a footer, and I need both of these elements added to the existing theme.

Contributors will be submitting potential content through a page on the site, not through the WP dashboard, so I need a form to accomplish that. Submissions will go to a queue to await my approval, and if possible I would like the site to send me an email to notify me of each submission.

Approved submissions will contain a link, leading back to the submitters original post on their own blog.

Finally, I need some things removed from the theme. There will be no comments, so I need any reference to those removed - I don't want a 0Comments thing showing by posts, nor do I want the date or time shown.

There may be additional work needed, that I am unaware of at this time, so there would be an understanding that this would take place for an additional fee.
